I hope someone can correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it possible just to do the lock to lock turns with the steering wheel to calibrate the SAS?

no because if you really look at the pic i posted there is a pic where there is no vin number so an error code of wrong id for LWS something in that vicinity
meaning SAS was change but never coded to vehicle if the old SAS was repair then i wouldn't need to re coded the picture show LWS new.again
i'm trying to compare if there is info needed in the LRW field and LWS-id field
you know the old saying a pic is worth a thousand words and that's the help i'm looking for

Seems you haven't done the checksum after the change on PA Soft.

Incomplete coding.

See image above....courtesy from E46fanatics

Click IKE....then "Reprogramming"

Hit "Recalculate EEPROM checksum".

Then exit....turn-off ignition...wait fifteen seconds.

This should clear faults and correct the LWS ID.

If not something else is on the bin file......

Exclamation update

today i made 90% progress i took a chance and follow this thread=http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?1765680-DIY-Code-used-E39-DSC-module-w-NCS-Expert

to re- code my LWS= steering angle sensor
and it must of work because now when i start the car the trifecta lights go away but right after i start driving a few seconds it comes back on but my progress is that now on every start up they do go off.instead of staying steady. i think the yaw sensor and the pressure sensor are bad got these codes
but i'm very happy with the progress 1 big step closer to getting it fix
