Battery Drain for X5 2004 4.4

Hey guys,

I just replaced my alternator - and the day it was replaced, voltmeter showed 12.4volts.

Now, it's at 11.8v - and it's been sitting for about 2-3 days.

The battery is new (12.2) - but after those 2-3 days - when I removed the terminals the battery is now also at 11.8v's.

Everything is off in terms of the lights and what not, so if I'm having a parasitic drain, what is the process for me to start probing around for this X5?

Thanks,
D
