I have the correct country selected in the settings if that is what you are referring to and am tuned to actual stations I should pick up. I don't hear any sound coming from the speakers though, not even static. When you change the station to one that should come in clear (as it did before) it acts like it isn't receiving any kind of signal.

The cabling, antenna, etc should not be a problem since everything was working fine for 4 months. I think the canbus decoder went bad, which lead to mistakenly swapping my good headunit for a refurb unit with a bad tuner.

However if the radio does not auto tune any stations, then it is mostly likely wrong tuner under factory settings. Even if you got the same model as before, you might have different radio tuner chip installed. So you might want to try a few of them.

Could also be that your MCU needs to be updated, I lost radio when going from one MCU version to another one (I had to downgrade it).

You also might want to check the large square connection in back, I lost sound once because the I didn't manage to connect this one properly (the plastic locks didn't lock fully).

The Canbus has far I know has nothing todo with radio. I currently driving without Canbus on my unit (waiting for a new one), but radio is working fine.
