Installing a CarPC into my X

I've been looking at this as well - got any further Vitriol?
I know in my UK spec car the amp is also in the business CD player since I don't have an amp in the boot. It also has an antenna input so must have the radio tuner inside as well.
Does the MID work with the business CD unplugged?

yea, i am almost done actuall, i will be posting pictures and a how to in the next few weeks. i am working in a lab, so its a bit of a time constraint. give me 2 weeks and ill do post the pics

im trying to do something like this, not the whole replacement of the paneling, but just on top of the vents, similar to how the idrive looks like on the new 5's

V, what type/brand/model of LCD did you use to still allow for the use of the wood door that covers the business CD? Also, are you going touch screen? I was looking at the XENARC 700IDT but the dimensions didn't look to pan out... I'm planning on a mac mini installation with bootcamp plus Windows Media Center (just to be different)...

Also, let me know how that adapter works for you; im running the ice>link and have the option to add AUX, but this looks to be a better solution; possibly...
