Electronic exhaust cutouts for E53... suggestions?

Oh. Okay. Thanks. For some reason my brain was converting 'oval' to 'round'. Yeah, those low profile cutouts are pretty sick. I don't know how to weld so I'd need some help.

One stupid question I had for anyone is... do you choke on exhaust fumes if your cutouts are up front or even mid car? I imagine if you do the problem would be worst if you are at a stop with the windows rolled down.

Unless your stoplight is enclosed in a room, no.
Just like the cars around you in heavy traffic, 5 lanes deep doesn't choke you. This isn't a mopar Cudda. You'll be safe as long as you don't route the pipes into the cabin air intakes.

Thanks. Just wondering. If I am in a parking lot with the X5 idling and lift the trunk the fumes are pretty stinky.

Same here. I'm blaming the VSS's on mine though...
