Panoramic Sunroof Lube?
Hi All,
I'm doing some routine maintence on my X5 with the Pano Sunroof. It seems to run ok at the moment but I wish to clean out the tracks and drains so after this I want to clean and re-lube the tracks. I can't seem to find much information about which lube is suitable for the X5 sunroof. On my old Benz I just used white lithium grease and that worked ok. I've heard that an industrial grade clear silicone grease is suitable. Would any of these work ok? Rocol Silicone Grease Rubber O Ring Valve Lubricant 120G RY421515 | eBay JET Lube 73560 DM Dielectric Silicone Grease 5 3 OZ Squeeze Tube Translucent | eBay Also, does anybody have a guide on how to do it? I'm not 100% sure on which parts need greasing. I can see the tracks, however i'm sure there is more to the story!
