Sunroof is confused. Rear panel will not open.
So this started last week.
I press to open the sunroof and first press, the shade opens all the way. I press a second time and the front panel opens half way (should be open all the way). I press a third time and the front panel opens fully. It will not go any further. It stops the first time, a perfect distance of what the panoramic would need to open. The second time it goes back the distance the panoram would open. It's like it thinks half open is all the way open and full open is panoramic open. I have reinitialized the sunroof a few times. Each time, it only goes back as far as the front panel all the way open and the rear won't open. I tried with the remote and it will only open half way as well. It's almost as of a sensor got tripped too far forward or something. Any idea on a fix? There has never been any sticking, popping, grinding, etc. I have opened it up as much as I can and cleaned out the tracks of any possible debris that could be triggering a fail safe. I have tried searching, but couldn't find this particular issue. Would leaving it closed and pulling the fuse to the sunroof or pulling the battery maybe help reset it? If so, where is the sunroof fuse located? Fuse box in glovebox? Passenger panel in the rear? Elsewhere?

Haven't heard of this - only the issue of the rear panel not closing, for which there is a DIY to take the rear panel out of the sunroof operation.
I'm pretty sure the sunroof fuse is in the glove compartment fuse box.

Mine is pretty much like the rear panel delete right now, but it can tilt. The thing is, I didn't do anything to make it thay way, it just sortof happened. I doubt something is seriously broken and would like use of the rear panel again if I can.

Solved: I'm an idiot. For some reason I thought I remembered it going all the rest of the way back, including the rear glass section. I just watched a "how to operate" video looking for clues. Apparently it didn't go back, but I just thought it did.
