You sure its the wiring? Mine where really clogged up in the jet filters buy the bottle. There are two pumps on the side. I took them out, cleaned and cleared them then reconnected and they where fine.
You test connection for circuit on a volt meter with open circuit beep? Cheers James

Remove the pump, then remove the rubber grommet in which the pump is fitted to on the tank. Clean the filter and it should be fine. You should also clean the tank since that is where all the crud develops from.

Are the pumps coming on? If the rear pump doesn't come on plug it into the harness for the front for front wipers. Press for front washer and if it pumps to the rear it's not the pump. It's the chip on the rear wiper motor. If the front pump doesn't work disconnect the harness, connect a DMM, then pull for the front washer. If you get 12 volts, it's a bad pump. Turn on the head lights then try the washer. If the front pump comes on but no fluid to the headlights then it's likely a clog in the line or the outlets.

Agree with the advice given already so I will add that I had a mucous based alien life form growing in my washer fluid tank which clogged all of the emitters. I could hear the pumps turn on and with just a bit of testing was able to blow out the internal seals on one of them. Swapping the pumps around is easy and will lead to the next course of action. If serious cleaning is needed perhaps this will help ... http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...follow-up.html
