Changing an always-on power socket to an ignition-on socket.

Greetings forums,

I'd like to add a vehicle dvr so I really need to change the power socket under the passenger dash from always-on to an ignition-on socket. Without tearing into the entire dashboard to rewire the socket. Is there a fuse I can add a jumper section of wire to that could make this socket ignition controlled? Or a better method to change the socket?
