X5 Interior Trim

So last week I finally bit the bullet and purchased an upgrade trim for my BMW X5 4.6is. I purchased the trim from a vendor on eBay and it had to come from Latvia. Yeah I know it seems risky but had it not been for the EBay purchase protection guarantee I would not have ventured to do the purchase. Anyway I want to report back on how well executed the purchase was by thee vendor. The vendor on EBay is coconat777. They have a number of trim sets advertised on EBay fror BMWs, Porsches, Audi's etc. Anyway I asked to make sure that the trim would be packaged in such a manner to prevent scratching against other trim in the package. So I purchased the trim on August 22nd and it shipped on the 23rd. On Tuesday August 30th (7 days from the purchase date) it arrived at my house. Now the time frame in delivery amazed me seeing that the expected date of arrival was somewhere between September 6th and the 14th. The next most impressive thing with the trim was packaging. The exterior of the box was nicely wrapped with a couple layers of shrink wrap but then when I opened the box the real surpise was awaiting. All of the trim pieces were triple layer wrapped for packaging and then masked taped down so that no movement would occur in the box. Back to the wrapping of the trim pieces. The other layer consisted of no less then 7 layers of shrink wrap. Beneath that was a multi layer of bubble wrap and then finally a layer of blue cloth napkins covering the actual trim. My trim made the trip in perfect condition. So this vendor of used trim appears legitimate but also is caring in the packaging of their goods to make a long trip. Oh and the shipping time was above expectation going through priority mail of Latvia to Priority of the US. In addition. The tracking number he provided was active within 24 hours of shipping. He provided the number tracking that could be checked with Latvia mail and then could be checked once reaching the US post system .
