Thanks for the suggestions. Here is the scoop. I am going to pretty much choose from the 'stock' colors available at the facility I took them to. My gf did these photoshops for me. Shows a 4.6is photoshopped into my color with the wheels in these 3 shades, closest to what is available to me. It's one of these three 'looks'. I can choose 20 - 40 - 60 - 90% gloss options, and definitely going clear coat at the end for durability. These are the parameters, opinions welcome!

My model year has vibrant silver trim around the Windows - silver wheels match well for sure.

STAY WITH SILVER on the wheel color. Matches trim, and highlights the wheels/tire area. IMHO: Dark wheels make the X5 look like you are missing the wheels completely.

I think you can tell from my comments, I am agreeing with you on this. Assuming I go with silver, % gloss is now the variable?
