gauge cluster bulbs
I know they're real small but are they BMW specific? I'm looking for a brighter glow like a STi's so I'd like to swap them out for led's but not sure if they even make them in this bulb model?

My jeep had 194's so it was no issue to swap in led's.

No not BMW specific. A lot of Euro makers use them.

I thinke there were LED models of these bulbs in Ebay when I looked. Dont know anyone who have tried though.

But I think any brightness or color advantage of LED will be masked by the red diffuser these bulbs are under.

No, sorry, never got interested enough to research the bulb type designation for it.

But if you google the BMW part number for the bulb, you'll get a lot of pics and info on it. It's 62111391260.

I actually searched for 2003 x5 gauge cluster led & it was enough. thanks

so this red diffuser is like a red tint cover the bulb goes through?
