I'm concerned about wobble....but the reality is, we're probably talking single bike for a good while until I get the wifey or the munchkin *who's still on a balance bike* to graduate to a bigger bike. So load weight, I'm good all around

The single rack comes standard with 1 1/4 plus adapter. However, 1UP will make you a custom 2" version for an extra $50, which is what I'm running. Thinking back, I think the 1 1/4 + adapter would be sufficient and it's nice to have the flexibility to switch between 1 1/4 and 2" and save an extra $50 to boot.

The wedge mechanism of the 1UP rack does NOT wobble at all, so no need for this setup.
