What software are you using? My car came preprogrammed to do this but it can easily be turned on/off with the ICarly app.

Software on a PC - and it seems the PA Soft is the easiest (although I haven't tried it yet).

Have you verified that the "follow me home" function is not active? It normally is, unless someone coded if to be off.

The user manual refers to this function as "Pathway Lighting"

Check this by parking the car, shutting down the engine, and then before you open the door, activate high beam via the "flasher" position on the lighting stalk (pull it towards you briefly) - this should turn on the headlights for about 20 seconds.

Search for it on eBay or Google it. Many eBay sellers bundle dubious versions with an OBD-2 adapter, which you will also need. There's plenty of threads on this forum also. :-)

Or you can buy the cable and software for INPA from that seller in Romania.

Can you code stuff with INPA? Pretty sure you need NCS Expert. Or PA Soft. I guess the software package from Romania includes all the tools...

While I have used INPA many times, I haven't used the others, so I'll defer to those with greater knowledge and experience!

The iCarly app allows the programming of alarm (lock/unlock) signal/flash, comfort windows, wiper interval, wiper behaviour at stand still, headlight washer (on/off), lock doors while driving away, "follow home lights", comfort lights (exterior/interior) and a lot more...

If you're thinking of doing more advanced programming such as sensor or air ride height calibrations then iCarly wouldn't be for you.

That option comes from factory Unless somebody has not switched it off! But I do not think so!
