Sirius Radio not working

Anyone have a idea about Sat radio ? mine drop out last week, I had a cover on the car for a couple of days ,I pull the cover drove the car and nothing.
I do have the channels and it has the listing for the artist [with nothing] and the sound[nothing] . but I can stroll to my stations, I checked all the connections and disconnected and reconnected it .
Any clues?

It's been a very long time since I had sirius with the OE deck, but if I recall, when you have LOS - loss of signal/line of sight, pretty much everything drops as nothing is ~cached~. Similar to streaming radio and losing internet connectivity....

I do recall the Sirius tuner doing updates every now and then. Odd since technically it shoulds like the tuner is talking to the sats, just not outputting audio..

Perhaps you need to refresh the Sirrius module

Refreshing your radio is like restarting your computer- if something is acting up, refreshing your radio should fix it.

If you're near your radio now
The refresh signal will be sent from a satellite, so make sure your vehicle is outside and your antenna has a clear view of the sky.
Turn your radio on and tune to Channel 184 for Sirius radios or Channel 1 for XM and SiriusXM radios.

If you're near your radio now, just choose Send a refresh signal to this radio from the dropdown menu in the My Subscriptions tab, then click Send Activation Request.

If you're not near your radio
Call the Sirrius automated activation hotline when you're ready at 855-MY REFRESH (697-3373).
Make sure to have your Radio ID/ESN handy.
Follow the instructions from their Automated Activation Hotline to have a refresh signal sent to your radio.

The other thing is that the Sirrius module is bad and you will need to take it into a BMW dealer to have them install a new module.
