Stealth amplifier mounting bracket

So like many I removed the factory amplifier, nav, bluetooth, etc and replaced it with a nicer aftermarket system. As part of that I measured and made a custom bracket to allow an amplifier to mount in the factory location so as to be completely stealth once installed. Just test fitted and it was spot on. If anyone is interested I can try to create a PDF template and/or load a solidworks part or drawing file for CNC'ing. I used a simple 24"x12"x0.25" ABS sheet from McMaster which can be bought for around $24. I'm still finishing the install so excuse the ugliness of the pics but I figured I'd share.

It's great when you can do something yourself which a professional fitter most likely wouldn't do.

Great work!

Agreed. I hate seeing poorly mounted automotive accessories. Especially when done by a "pro." I had to clean up my BSW setup installed in my X5 when it was purchased as it was done below my standards.

Nice job OP. Looks good.
