C Pillar Trim

Anyone ever take some butyl to hold your C pillar....

Both sides are held in by tension of the plastic tabs on the the C Pillar Trim. Both sides are mine don't seem to be sitting quite tight. Paint is fine on them

Option A : Get new ones + paint....
Option B: Just glue the sunnvab1tch in place

Is this interior or exterior that you are referring to?

Exterior

I wild guess is fatigued plastic. Past bodyshop painting - the take out the window to do a proper paint job.

Lots of labor to access that c-pillar trim but if its just once piece then its just the dismantling of one door. Better off buying a new trim piece to fix it right.

WIN....Just went online and was about to order this part but it looks I'm in the green.
We're talking the round part of the side trunk window between C/D Pillar.

When I said green, just saying looks like it comes painted - I'm hoping that's what it means since it's saying schwartz and not *primed*. Saves me bodyshop money

OT, sounds fair to me....just sent 2 new mirror covers to my shop for paint. $150

nvrmind....no so WIN. Realoem was showing 88 msrp.
Seems to be a price jump or wrong price in realoem, but list on it is 370, with usual dealer online pricing of $300 for it.

Too good to be true I suppose. I suppose butyl or some sorts is going to have to come out

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
^^You have shadowline trim correct? Yeah all those pieces are going to be north of $300 - I just had to have both B-pillar trims replaced by body shop on my passenger side because of my dealer fiasco with my alternator repair when they broke my door carrier and locked my keys in the car and broke in with a slim jim damaging my pillar trim - the dealer forked over $650 or so just for those two pieces

Indeed. When RealOEM was showing a price of 88, lol, I had the credit card out and punched in the # of fairfaxes sites (currently cheaper on average than turner or bmwminiparts). Unfortunately I found out it was more like 88x3
