Hay guys/gals. I am just starting out with trying to learn about the software on my E53 for the engine and tranny. I want to figure out what version of the software I have for my tranny and engine and possibly update it myself.
Why am I doing this long story short. I have two 2005 x5 4.4 sport (one of them my wife's). They drive differently I think we have different version software want to confirm and go from there.
If anyone can point to a resource (article, link, site) to get me started on this it would be great. Hay I would not mine if you have the answer and just tell me that works too

I tried my dealer but they could not even get me my Bluetooth code to link my my phone (got the answer here).
