Grom MAKES A DSP adapter as well for the E53 X5's. You need to buy it to USE it correctly with the GROM BOX if you have DSP.. check their website or see below:

Keep in mind that the DSP wire harness that GROM sells is only needed if your CD changer utilizes the coaxial cable for the DSP. My 2003 4.6is has DSP but only uses the 3 pin and 6 pin connector and this is all that is needed to power/operate the GROM unit. So check your CD changer fist. If the CD changer has a coaxial input cable connected to it then you will have to order the DSP interface cable that they sell.
