Exclamation trans adaptation

hello to all
if i reset my trans adaptation using inpa will any thing be gain been i'm the 3rd owner and would like the trans to learn my driving habit.if that makes sense.
or is there a different way to go about it.

The take-a-way from the info in the thread that was linked above is...driver influenced adaptations can't be reset because they aren't stored or remembered...but start fresh at each start up...and adapt to each driving session based on input to the accelerator pedal. To teach it "new tricks" would require you to not drive like you normally do.

BUT...there are long time WEAR adaptations that CAN be reset. For instance, if you have transmission work done...you can reset the transmission's hydraulic pressure control adaptations.

But again, the recommendation to do this is after transmission or valve body replacement or software changes:
