Like the Charging System?
Quickie test Start car, connect VOM (Volt ohm meter)to the battery's post, set tester to DC VOLTS, bring idle to 1500 rpm- read meter. Over 13v or under? Report back or read the 25 other posts on this topic.

 What he said. Also, your 'battery light' should be considered more as a 'your generator is not charging as much power as you use-light'. In short, unless you have some issues with bad power/ground connections, your generator is most likely on it's way out.

9 times out of 10... voltage regulator in alternator going out. Plenty of threads on this subject.
