You can make this argument if you so choose. It may even have some modicum of validity to it. However that doesn't mean legal advice was being offered nor does it mean said legal advice was based on a TV show.
Again: The point of my posting about it was to provide
a real world example of how a seemingly straightforward transaction can go south. A situation which others essentially said could not happen. It was not intended to, nor did it, offer any legal advice.
