Steering wheel groaning
So I have encountered some steering wheel groaning when locking to the right and locking to the left. On occasions I get the sound going straight after I have made a turn. I checked the power steering fluid and it's a little on the low side. Prior months weeks leading up to this I have been hearing a rubbery type sound when turning the steering wheel. Your thoughts, please. |

Jack-up your front-end then start engine and turn steering side to side.
Please.....be VERY careful doing this. It's also a good idea to place wheel chocks on your rear tyres. |

I am getting a faint groan also.
Fluid level full, clean red fluid. I have already replaced the canister. Out of ideas.
