It was originally listed @ $19,999 and has slowly been coming down.

It should definitely go for more than $12k...It's one of the lowest mileage availables I've seen for sale. I only know of two lower mileage examples and both are board members here.

I don't think they're particularly rare, more like they all got abused, destroyed, and/or parted out due to the relative undesirability of the silver color. Most 4.6 enthusiasts go for the BSM, Imola Red, or Estoril Blue.

Do you know how many miles were on your 4.6 when the Dinan engine and transmission mods were done and if there have been any transmission repairs necessary? How many miles on it now?

Don't know when the previous owner added Dinan mods. I am guessing sometime early on. It has 134k now. No transmission repairs. I do trans flush at regular intervals which is important and most don't do it which leads to bigger problems.

I offered them 14,200, and they said no. I'm new here, but not to BMWs. They are holding out. I tried explaining there's a smaller group of enthusiasts who would buy that, but they willing to let it sit for 4 months.

They came back to me this a.m. I poured through the carfax, must have been older guy. Records are impeccable, oil changes every 6k. Hard to pass up.

For the wrong car, you could easily be in 2500 right after purchase. Damnit. If it were blue, I'd jump. Help.
