I can’t believe someone would rip my X5 off!! At least they didn’t get the roundel

It probably fell off on its own. It does happen to badges and roundels.

Nice register and good to see so many going strong.

I would ask for an E53 register for the 5.0L but I think it might be a very short list :-(

I guess it's possible but it's pretty unlikely that after 12 years in 100f+ that two separate badges would fall off. I guess I'll just have to say it's my fault for having something nice in the Al Khaleej area. I'll try to post a pic from the last time it got hotter than the sun here "60c" air temperature

Yeah!!
New X5 badge found for $24. On the way to pick it up had a "sudden" stop and roached the vac booster and had passenger rear window drop at the same time!!

Glad I'm paid in nickels and dimes, as that seems to be what makes X5's run

I'll post pictures when all is done/fixed

Happy 4th of July!!

I miss flat nosed beef....

Good to see the registry is still going strong! I mayyyyy be coming back shortly

FYI - there is a legit Sterling Grey 4.8iS (Canadian Market) vehicle for sale in NJ. I thought about pursuing the vehicle, but I will ultimately pass on it. Looks to be 2-3 owner vehicle, once/currently registered in FL. ~100k miles, cluster still shows KMPH so I assume that'll have to be swapped at some point. Front air suspension is blown out. Comes with a bunch of options (Running Boards, Nav, Heated Steering Wheel, PDC). Interesting color and very rare for being in the US. Vehicle is at US AUTOWHOLESALERS.

I am looking at something more local tomorrow.

CleanIsfast: you could talk to EODguy who is thinking in repatriating his unique Alpine 4.8iS. That will be a score.

AW 4.8iS would be very unique. Not sure the leg work that is needed to import those things.

Looking at a TiSi tomorrow and calling a Lemans owner today
