While I dont consciously provide my VINs I dont understand the paranoia in doing so. Are people really concerned that someone will track your car down, go into your garage and steal the vehicle? Oops nevermind I see that has already happened with a couple M5's

The worse part of this is that if you provide the last digits the BMW VIN decoder website will provide the rest.....
