Tow hitch bumper reinforcement
I have a Westphalia hitch with a BMW part number on it. However, I know this was installed after purchase by a non dealership shop. I am curious -- could it be possible that I have the hitch but not the bumper reinforcement? Could this be possible, and if I looked under the car how would I spot the reinforced bumper versus the original? I searched a few threads but couldn't find any with pictures. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

There are also some reinforcement plates under the trunk floor that are not pictured in the thread above. Bolts go through them and tie into the frame rails. My guess is that if it is an OEM tow hitch everything "should" be included. When dealers were selling them it was a full kit
