Trifecta Question

I've had the dashboard lit up with all three lights for awhile now and the speedometer was not working. I sent the ABS module away and had rebuilt. The speedometer is working, but I still have the trifecta. The brake light is red. It does not immediately come on, only after I begin driving and turn the steering wheel. I switched the front speed wheel sensors and did not correct. I used the Launch CRP129 scan tool and it gives the following DTC:

35 Inlet Valve, Front Right

Anyone have suggestions for what it is? I believe the only thing left is the steering angle sensor. Before I drop $150 on a new steering angle sensor, wanted to see if anyone has any thoughts.

I have a 2001 X5 3.0. I believe I do not have to remove the dash to take the column off, anyone able to confirm that for my make/model?

Thank you

Sounds like you still may have issues with your abs module. Going to assume the inlet value code you're getting means it doesn't see the correct signal returning from that speed sensor. I personally wouldn't install a steering angle sensor unless that came up as a specific code.

Agreed. If you can get your hands on the INPA software you can test the ABS pump, as it sounds like the pump is not working properly. I was just reseraching the same thing yesterday for my 850.

Thank you both for your insight. I'm glad it is still likely an ABS issue. I'll look into locating / acquiring INPA software and see what's up with the car. I've keep all posted on the final resolution with it, hopefully sooner than later.
