Only real way to determine why the lights are on is to get it scan. Regular OBD II scanners will not provide the info. You need a scanner that can read all the modules in the BMW.

Is there a scanner that will scan all the BMW modules, codes and what not, That's reasonably priced.
What's everyone using ?

I use a piece of software with an old window xp laptop. It's called BMW scanner 1.4. You can get it on Amazon.

INPA, which is factory BMW diagnostics, is also available on Ebay IIRC as a package together with the needed OBD2 cable.

The software is available on-line for free also. I got mine this way. You will need to get a cable for it, I got mine on Amazon.

The wheel speed sensor needs to be replace. Buy an OE wheel speed sensor, and perhaps the connector from the main harness that attaches to the wheel sensor connector. On the three wheel speed sensors that I had to replace on my X, the harness just crumble apart when I went to detach it.
