I had almost exactly the opposite problem. (Slight wobble during deceleration). In several family cars of late the wobble came from control arms (3-4 family cars in past year).
The best way to test for loose suspension is to mount a video camera on a tripod (I have a suction cup type meant to use iPhone as gps) pointing at each wheel and simply start and stop both forward and reverse. Only takes 5mph even less to do the test. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
