I did consider a dash mounted screen....but was too afraid to cut it.

Preferred to just slot it in the existing board monitor location....no mess ....no fuss!

Way cleaner and better integrated the approach you are taking. I can't stand the stick it up in the dashboard approach. It looks to cobbled together that way. Like a police cruiser unit.

unfortunately, this setup will remove the function of cup holder.
