May Go Check Out an `05 3.0 at Junkyard

I was thinking about upgrading to a heated steering wheel and started looking around at salvage parts. I saw there is an `05 3.0 just 40 miles from me in Fairmount, IN, so I think I may go check it out next week. I can't tell if the steering wheel is heated from the pics, but I figure there may be some other small parts I want. The thing looks just like mine, except the front end is smashed in real good. Looks like it was pretty clean before the wreck and only had 85K miles on it.

If anyone wants me to check out any parts in particular, let me know. It has Style 131 wheels like mine that may be in good shape.

It's good to see how well most of the frame held up after what was obviously a pretty major impact up front. The more I look at it, I'm guessing they rear ended a truck, because the bumper doesn't look very damaged - whatever they hit was grill level:

I might be interested in the wheels if they are cheap. Really trying to get some 19 or 20's but a good price could change my mind

Get the VIN# and look it up on Bimmer.Work. Look for option "248 Steering Wheel Heating".

Also it looks like this X has the much sought after factory tow package.

Looks like it has a lot of high end options so chances are it has the heated steering wheel.
