Exclamation Traction control problem

This problem is new to me as for when i bought the truck it had the trifecta lights on.I had the abs module fully refurbished. And driver front abs sensor replace.that took care of lights.the new issue was found when we had the 1st snow storm back in dec-2016 when I would loose traction taking off the Trifecta light would come on but if I turn the truck off for like 20 seconds then re-start the truck the light would go away.2 codes show up as open circuit of pressure sensor switch and open circuit of yehaw sensor. both sensors were change with new oem ones but it still does it.so my question is what also control the traction control on these vehicles.that i'm over looking or missing. Been abs system works 100% as it should when braking in slippery weather to make sure sensors weren't defective I had them change again but no go still says open circuit when traction is lost.

I would try to get a code reader or INPA that shows individual wheel speed sensor operation. I know you said you "tested" it by hitting brakes in snow, but they could still be faulty. I was having an issue, checked speed sensors with code reader and they all showed good, but I decided to change them anyway due to age and the problem went away. The issue is that the whole system relies on so many parts working in harmony and if one goes away, you lose everything. When mine wasn't working last year I took it out in the snow and it was the scariest car I have ever driven in the snow. Would just flip ends, skid without notice. I fixed that wheel sensor and it is pretty good now, not the best, but better. I would also recommend getting 4 snow tires for winter time. Made a huge difference on mine. Good luck. Can be very frustrating

Did you say; that the pressure sensor and the yaw rate sensor where change by new ones?
If you did, it might be the actual module that when they refurbish something escape by them and its bad again. Thats the only problem that I could think or like CapeX5 said old speed sensor.

The yaw sensor is under the driver seat. Check its properly secured and plugged in.

If you have INPA then you can unbolt the sensor and rotate it to see the output changing on screen...

Likewise the brake pressure sender, it should change on screen as you press the brake pedal.

Without a diagnostics program and lead you will spend a fortune changing parts or paying others to do it!

on the x5 well atleast on mine 02 it is underneath the center console towards back of it. thanks for the idea to un bolt it while watching inpa to see if changes. as far as the pressure sensor i already did that test with dis-gt1
and at normal car running it had like 0.5 and when i started to step on the brake the harder i press the higher the number would go so that one is working as it should.
