Whistling Dixxie

Hey Guys,

So I was wondering if anyone has had the issue with a constant whistling sound from the engine? A high pitched whistle that follows the revs of the engine. I checked my tailpipe and no one left me a gift there so it's definitely coming from the engine.

I had my shop smoke the engine to look for leaks anywhere and there wasn't a single leak found after a long time too.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before?

Adding this YouTube link for future reference.
This is exactly the whistling sound my X5 is making. There are lot of different whistling and whining noises on YouTube but this one is pretty much spot-on.
