My 4.6is
I thought now I'm starting to get stuck in to my 4.6is, I would start a progress thread..
Here she is after a detail..         Hopefully the pics work and don't come ou too big. Current plans are: New timing chain tensioner. Drop oil pan for obvious reasons. Fresh oil & filter. New CCV. Rectify SLS fault. Rectify parking sensor fault. Replace rear bushes. (List will potentially grow). Maybe plans: Paint wheels, potentially black. Black grills. Light tint windows. Different steering wheel. Eonon stereo/nav. Exhaust system. I will update and post pics as I do stuff  Thanks for looking.

I am not fond of red interior, but there is something about red and black together that just makes it transform into something beautiful! Very nice!! Cheers!!

Man the 4.6's got all the cool interior options. BMW really dropped the ball when they went at the 4.8's in terms of "cool" factor when it comes to the interior.

Yeah the Red Interior on a silver X5 is the ticket. I especially like the cosmos black interior trim and the red bordered floor mats. Are the floor mats original? Perhaps some type of BMW "Individual" selection?
