Window still not working after new regulator!!!
One of the Windows stopped going down but could hear the clicking and in clicking of the motor when pressing up. So ordered a new regulator. Fitted it and voila-no difference!! Anyone able to shed any light on the issue? Got a multimeter on the plug and no output when the button is pressed. Same issue when using the drivers set of buttons and the individual button on the door. |

You didn't mention which window...so i have to ask if it's a rear window. If yes, then make sure the lockout button isn't activated on the main driver's door switch.

You beat me to it Qsilver7... It might be the lock button... Check to see if the other windows work... If they do, the one you are working on should also... I don't think there is an individual fuse for each window...
Good luck and let us know what happens please... Cheers!!

Yeah I thought it was that but no. It's the rear drivers side window. All the others are fine.

I usually hold down the unlock button when walking to the car to get some fresh air in the cabin and that window doesn't roll down with the others

Why would an alternator change affect the mileage on the vehicle? That seems strange?

what motor do you hear clicking, and where is there no power? I once changed a regulator, and after putting it all together, it didn't work. In my case, I didn't click the connector on the bottom of the switch assembly in the armrest (the one with 4 buttons on it) back in all the way. Took it out, refastened all the locking connector doohookies, and we were good to go.

Well I had it off for about an hour whilst doing that and the window regulator. Connected back up and it was flat. So jump started it and 4x4 light was on then after about 5mins I realised the mileage was 999999
