Knock when i start the engine

Hello,

I have a knock under the driver seat when i start the engine. Does anyone know what is it ? Bmw x5 e53 2002 184 hp

3.0d (Diesel)?

Could be a broken exhaust mount - the diesel has long welded pipes that have little flex in them. It's one piece from the cat outlet to the tail pipes!
