4.8isX5 is on a distinguished road
My Lemans Blue 4.8is

As some of you may have seen in classifieds (still many parts avail please go look) my silver X was totalled out by a deer end of Oct 2016.

I was very close on closing a deal on a 535i fully loaded when a deal on a lemans 4.8is came to me, having a temporary 2nd car to use i bought it.

Pictures will tell the story in order from pickup till how it sits now, needed to swap headliners, recode airbags and replace some (took them off my totalled one), pull the pass side dash enough to mount the canister for curtain bag, full in and out detail, alternator bracket gasket, new tires, and a few other things. Being the deal i got on it, the car cost me beans even with all the work i did in my spare time.

138k on the clock when i got it, however no smoking issues and tons of prev maint documents.

This one is giving me some trans issues but as of now is still driveable, i have a whole nother parts car for it sitting in the backyard so bigger parts arent a worry, just a matter of swapping out which is nice. Still debating wether i will just rebuild the trans or swap the one from silver one over while doing seals, mechatronic seal, and pan/filter/gasket plus fluid.

The blue truck currently sits stock for the most part other then coding, stock height still (front right bag leaks at fold when lowered, but not at stock height, left was replaced by PO but dont feel like doing this one yet), 30mm rear spacers, 25mm front, and white led angel eyes.

And i swapped the rear section off the silver truck giving this one a "muffler delete" exhaust setup which sounds super nice however not as loud as the other one was.

Onto the photos

Some of the old ride
