just done the rear bearings, any one off hand know the torque of the rear hub nut?? does it get torqued in stages?? asking now before I set off to finish it off cheers,

It's something like 320nm but unless you have a monster torque wrench, very very tight will likely do, as it is peened over into the slots the in the axle stub.
Will look up the exact value for you but it varies depending on year or source - I've seen several values for this nut. *correction* torque is 420nm....
