My key fob hasn't worked for about a year now. I got new keys and figured out that not the problem. Got the car tested for faults and no result came back so I have been using the door lock to get in. Over the weekend, my door lock tumbler broke. I had a tow truck come and slim jim it to open and it work but the central locking was not working but it used to work before this. The next day the car got locked and when the tow truck came he could not get in. I towed the car to the dealership but they couldn't get in. They told me the only way to get in is to break a window or drill the door lock out! So basically my key fob doesn't work at all, the door lock is broken, the central lock stopped working and my car doesn't have a trunk key lock. Has this ever happened to anyone? Does anyone know what to do?
thanks! |

nope...you're not the 1st...nor will you be the last...the links below are for varying scenarios that include dead battery lockout, broken handle carrier lockout, remote key doesn't work lockout, central locking system doesn't function lockout...plus varioius combinations of all the above:

If by chance you have a panaramic sun roof.... AND if by chance your back half has failed...AND you did the "disable" fix by taking out the screws - you can lift up the back glass with a suction cup and with a wire pull open an interior door handle.
