I use the Michelin Latitudes. Pirelli snows. Used to use Vredesteins on my 1975 Datsun 280Z. An excellent wet weather tire.

I currently use the Vredestein Ultrac Vortis on my summer staggered E53 wheels. Unreal wet/dry grip in hot weather, useless below 40 deg F. Don't even think about driving them on snow (near ZERO grip!).

Another vote for Continental DWS tires, excellent 4-season tires.
I think the new name is "DWS 06" or something like that. Wait for rebate around this time of the year, I think once a year, tire mfg's give rebate such as buy 4 tires, get a rebate of $80 or sth like that...
