I have only one cautionary note about the Conti DWS, not an issue for you guys up north - they are a bit soft for summer use on hot Georgia asphalt. I'm probably the only guy in Georgia who swaps out for summer tires, but do and will do so in the next month. I'm due a new set of summer tires and am leaning toward the Conti Cross Contact UHPs, reasonably priced and higher wear scores than more expensive Michelins.

Good point.

Worthy of noting, the Conti Touring Contacts currently on the Benz have a treadwear rating of 320, the new Conti Extreme Contact DWS 06 has a 560 rating. more grip and longer tire life? Sounds like a win/win.

I'm currently shopping for a set of AMG staggered wheels for the W211 Benz, for a set of Ultrac Vorti summer tires.

The BMW & Benz will run staggered Vredestein summer tires from May to Oct, square Conti AS tires the other months.

Looking at the rolling tire storage rack Tire Rack sells, anyone have this?
