Bluetooth pairing issues

Hello.
I have searched and went thru all the Bluetooth threads found no solution.
I have a 2003 X5 30i all rigged up for Bluetooth from factory, however it did not have
the module in the trunk.
I have purchased a BMW module installed it. Pretty much plug and play.
My samsung note 5 does not find my car to pair to it.
No matter what I do, I get the message "Phone connected?"
I don't find my car also I do not get any options to add the PK number.
Can someone help out? I am missing any steps here?
