Updating in to blue tooth

Hi guys, I have a Navigation system in my X5 E53 3.0 diesel. Needs to use the Bluetooth facsilties. Any idea how to add this to the Navi? Model is from 2005 and the Navi is I believe business.

What type of Bluetooth? Just telephony...or are you looking for the latest & greatest A2DP (music streaming)?

Telephony and music streaming. I am at the moment using it through the AUX. Is there a better option?

BT (bluetooth) music streaming is A2DP technology that didn't come to market until 2010 (6 years after BT telephony).

The first BMW models to get A2DP were 2011 models that hit the market in late 2010. So To Get BT music streaming in your BMW will require aftermarket solutions since it was built long before the technology was available.

Do a google search for A2DP for more info if you need a better understanding.
