Serpentine belt question

On my 2003 X5 4.6is I am changing out both belts and both tensioner.

My question is the main belt. It's labeled 7PK 1635.
Belt is made by Contitech.
On one parts house that part number is listed.
On another site it's a different number.

For a 2003 4.6is which belt do I need?

Is the 7PK 1635 correct?

RealOEM shows 7PK1623, not 1625.

OEM part number is 11287636369 if you want to cross reference.

This is confusing

Is the 4.4 and 4.6 belt the same part number?
Some catalogs say yes, some no.

No, they use different belts according to realOEM. The 4.4i uses a longer belt.

No problem. Glad to help when I can as I'm still learning the e53 and am not familiar with them like I am other BMW chassis. I feel silly sometimes after upallnight, bcredliner, propellerhead, etc correct a suggestion or observation I've made that only partially applies to the e53, or sometimes not at all.

All part of the learning process...
