Engine service soon mil light on..

HI guys need help with the Mil service engine soon ....light
After installed inpa in my windows xp and have alot of issues trying to conect to the car ....I try to erase some codes but the service engine light stays on..... any way to fix this ....thanks. ..
2004 x5 4.4is.
I also have a leak in the low side ac valve it's this common.....it was arround 90s degress here in phoenix and turned the car on to check inpa on laptop and run engine for about 10 or 15 mnts and I heard a hissin noise
From engine so freon came out check with black light and was all over the low side inlet schrader valve line. Not sure if the heat create alot of pressure in the line to make it release the freon or what or maybe too much freon on line ?...so any input on this will apreciate. ....thanks again..
