3.0d 2003 e53 air con issue

Hi not sure if anyone has had the same issues bit air con blowing out warm air etc so thought needs regassing

Took to mates garage he re gassed it, did the whole cycle etc pressure tested, no leaks etc but still not blowing out cold
Compressor kicks in you can hear engine change noise when button pressed, so re gassed again to double check, still no issues on gassing but still no change to cold air

Has anyone came across this issue before

Just noticed that when I start the car the aux fan comes on then goes off but when you press aircon button the fan is dead

Sometimes the heater valves fail, so the heating cannot be shut off completely. These valves shut off coolant to the heater core.

Hi I've worked out a bit more and if I unplug the pressure switch on the air con pipe the fan turns on but then the clutch stops working on the compressor, and if I plug it back in the fan stops working and the clutch kicks in

So I'm guessing it hopefully just is the pressure switch itself is faulty

Sounds like the switch is working as it should and least you now know the fan is good.

Did you check the vents blow normal air with heating and AC off or are they still warm? Do the vents change from warmish to coolish air when you change the vent control (the manual blue to red wheels)?

So further into the investigation work
We have changed the pressure sensor to eliminate that and still no joy, Fan works, compressor you can see working when the ac turns on etc
We took the gas out and fitted the sensor, and then out the same gas back in so no leaks etc pressure tested ok
But when you go back in the car no matter what its always blowing out normal air from outside , it seems like now even tho the comprsssor is on it's not pumping the cold aircon air around, or is there something we are missing
