relocating oem sat/nav & installing new unit

Hi, I have a 2002 4.4 and would like to install a new head unit without losing the obc. I read 2 threads that you can relocate the mid or sat/nav to the back but struggling to understand how to wire it up. I have no DSP
Questions:
1:I want to install a new unit (pioneer, kenwood, ....) with easy Bluetooth connection, mp3, cd or dvd and keep the steering weel buttons in use, I don't need navigation. What can you recommend?

2:I want to relocate the oem sat/nav dispay unit to the trunk, but can't see any left over connector what they're talking about in these threads to pop in the pins. Anybody has any pics to show how to do this? I have the widescreen sat/nav so no mid.

3:Would the new unit just use the existing BM54 module or do you need to put a new amp in?

Any other tips are welcome,
Thanks
