Noise when I come to a stop...

I just got my 20" put on and when I come to a stop or slow down, I hear kinda some road noise. It doesn't happen when I'm driving or stoping at braking at high speeds. It only happens when I'm almos to a complete stop and it's like loud road noise. Anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks.

What tires do you have? I've noticed with my new Kumho tires road noise gets worse as I slow down, and coming to a stop means hearing a pretty substantial amount of road noise.

I think you're just hearing what those much bigger tires sound like. There's alot more rubber hitting the ground now, & I'm guessing those Toyo's have large tread blocks which can be loud too.

Possibly, but I don't remember hearing this noise before. It's only been two months.

So the 20's have been on for 2 months and you're just starting to hear it? How many miles on the tires?

No, I had the 20" for about 6 months, then I put my 17" for the winter for 2 months and now I have the 20" back on.

If it's when you're almost at a complete stop...I'm wondering if it's that "shuddering" vibration and sound that comes from the brakes just before they bring the wheels to a stop? With 20" wheels, the brakes are working a bit harder to stop the rotation...

I'm thinking it's from the front brakes somewhere. I might go get it checked next week...
