X5 E53 2006 - Rear 6 Stack CD replacement options?

A week ago, i started getting CD Error on my TV Screen Display of the X5.
Today i checked the 6 CD Stacker in the rear
Pressing Eject made the unit whir a little, but No Eject.

I have done some reading on this fault and found a few answers, from a inserting a hook to actuate the eject mechanism to total unit replacement.

Considering i haven't played a CD in almost 15 years.
What are some good options to use the CD Stacker oem wiring?

Bluetooth Audio?
USB Drive?
Something else?

Thank you for any suggestions

If you have a cd changer in the rear, the Grom unit just replace the CD changer. You will use the CD controls of the existing head unit to access the music that you have on the Grom. My X had DSP so I had to get a DSP module in order to use it. I use a tiny 16gb usb jump drive to rip all of my music. I also have the Bluetooth module to connect my phone and stream music from my phone. The steering wheel control still works as designed.

My X5 has the DSP and NAV system and GROM audio works well in place of the CD unit. Since my X5 was a 2003 it did not need the DSP adapter. GROMs website will tell you what you need to make it work and be complete. Its simple plug n play 20 - 30 minutes to hook up.

My Grom maybe for sale soon as I will be getting rid of the X soon. Its has built in USB port as well as a Bluetooth module and an IPOD cable, along with the DSP converter.
